The Villages has graciously welcomed us to fulfill a lifelong dream of owning an exclusive restaurant. We hail from NE Ohio where we met at the age of 8. As original owners of Honeybaked Ham in Lady Lake, we are blessed with many-friendships here in our hometown community. Chef Danny creates magic in the kitchen, we are delighted to share this dining experience with you.

Upscale and casual dining is all about the food experience which must include variety, eye appeal and delicious taste. That's a tall order for any chef - not for Demshar's very own Chef Danny Connolly who thrives on the challenge of offering uniquely presented dishes from around the world. After leaving Detroit at a young age, where he learned to work hard and beat the odds, he started his career as a dishwasher. He graduated to prepping and the "food bug bit him." He really liked the whole culinary scene. He moved around the country experiencing food cultures from many areas until he landed the coveted title of Executive Chef at Lake County Mission Inn Resort. For seventeen years, Chef Danny managed the whole kitchen operation. Then a mutual friend introduced him to the Demshar's who were opening up an upscale and casual dining restaurant in The Villages, Florida and were looking for someone special to be their Chef. He was a true fit. The impressive weekly menu selections, general menu and mind-blowing White Table Cloth events showcase his culinary skills. He has worked very hard to get to this point in his life, but he credits it to his wife Holly of 22 years, "Her support, my four kids, and being in an industry I love, is just great."
